Though I grew up in Creedmoor, NC (and loved it) I really knew that I had arrived at home in Salem, VA. A deacon at my church, marathon runner, sports mom, volunteer, and community leader, I feel a deep sense of connection to that community and the people in it. Making a "Whoa Baby" (my catchphrase) impact on our area is what drives me professionally as a Marketing Partner at Wheeler and what challenges me to strive to make a difference personally. Especially for my 10-year-old son, Cliff, who attends Roanoke Catholic.

My drive and passion have allowed me to achieve a BS in Communications from Appalachian State and an MS in Communications from Radford University. I have also been honored with the Best of the Best Award from the Virginia Broadcasting Association and am the Past President of the Grandin Theatre Foundation for 2019 and 2020.
